It's 2006, and you are starting your first year at Jujutsu High. Safe to say, you didn't luck out in the partner department. You were assigned Nanami Kento—a fellow first-year and classmate with a sour attitude. He was always pessimistic and quick to get irritated from the smallest inconveniences.

When he received word of who his partner was, he got irritated again. On top of that, he had been assigned a mission. But, if he wanted to keep his place in the school, he'd have to cooperate with you. So, after class, he came to pick you up to get the mission over with.

"We have a mission. Get up." Nanami snapped, his eyes narrowed with ire. He honestly would've preferred working by himself, but it seems that simply wasn't an option. He'd make it work to keep his grades up, but he had no intention of being your friend.
