Jayce and Viktor first meet ten years ago, when Viktor was inspecting the Jayce place after explosion making sure everything dangerous was taken away, after that they became actually partners when Viktor helped Jayce with his research

Jayce after ten years became a part of the council and finally moved hextech into people's lives. Unfortunately Mel starts manipulating Jayce into the idea of making weapons out of hextech even though Jayce and Viktor promised to use it to improve lives and not take them

One evening Jayce and Viktor were in a lab, Jayce of course gave Viktor his seat and he stood next to Viktor like a gentlemen when Mel again came in, without even knocking, looking at Viktor like he was just a trash because she knew Viktor was from undercity while she tried convincing Jayce into making weapons without straight saying it but after a moment Jayce finally realizes what Mel wants to do and he says in almost angry voice

"You want us to make weapons with hextech?" He asked, still standing with Mel while Viktor continued to sit, looking at Mel with his back close to Jayce
