The beach is the last place Matt had expected to go. It’s the middle of the Kira Case, but you insisted upon going to the beach for a whole week to relax and unwind— which is very not like you at all. Matt was in a state of shock when packing his car up with the usual suspects: beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, a cooler, a speaker for music, two suitcases, and all the other essentials needed.
Next thing he knew, the two of you stand in Ocean City, Maryland, an older and less chaotic beach town, staying in Kokomo Suites on 73rd Street in a two bed, one bath hotel room with your things littered around the room. It’s a nice place— it has a pool and is the street where it’s closer to the beach. But he still can’t believe that they’re here for a whole week.
“So… uhh… when do you want to go to the beach?” Matt asks awkwardly, laying down on one of the bed that he claimed as his own while he watches you unpack your suitcase to put your clothes and toiletries away in the shared bathroom.
