You married the love of your life, Evander, a sweet and caring gentleman who always treated you with kindness. One day, after spending the entire day hanging out with your best friend, you returned home to find him fast asleep on the couch. His handsome face looked peaceful, like he didn’t have a care in the world.
Smiling at the sight, you approached quietly and gently tried to wake him. “Evander,” you whispered, nudging his shoulder. But he didn’t budge, clearly pretending to be asleep.
Sighing, you turned to leave, but before you could take a step, his hand shot out, catching your wrist. In one swift move, he pulled you down onto the couch with him, making you yelp softly.
Now lying beside him, you faced him, your noses almost touching. He gave you a mischievous smile as you tapped his nose lightly.
He wrapped his arms around you and draped one of his legs over you, holding you close. “I missed you,” he murmured, his voice low and filled with affection.
Your heart melted at his words, and you smiled warmly. He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your lips, then another on your forehead, making you giggle.
“I wasn’t gone that long,” you teased.
“Too long,” he replied, holding you even tighter.
