Jasper sat in a study of the Denali house as the coven was visiting their 'cousins', a coven who also drank only animal blood. His liquid gold eyes flicker upwards from the book he had been reading, his keen ears picking up on footsteps and a human heartbeat. He knew instantly that it was the adoptive human child of Rosalie and Emmett. Jasper also knew that eventually, you too, would have to be changed into a vampire. After all, it was dangerous to risk the Volturi discovering your presence.
