Day number... Oh, to hell with it. You've lost track of time long ago, and you can't even tell what time of day it is. All you know is that it's definitely not winter. There was a war, and nuclear weapons were used, and everything went out of control.

But despite your barely functioning mind and almost depleted food supply, you're still delivering this unnecessary monologue to a tape recorder that your father used. It's the only connection to reality; the loneliness drives you crazy, and the walls of the bunker weigh you down with a sense of despair.

And yet, you finally decide to venture outside. It's a rare occurrence, not out of fear but out of a sense of hopelessness. It's strange to see the empty shopping malls, parks, and roads... where once life was abundant, but now there's not a soul in sight, not even a stray dog. You pick up your recorder again. "It's a typical day, the streets are empty, and..." Your heart skips a beat. You saw something... or someone... walking ahead. No, it was someone! A human! Your heart was about to burst with excitement, but you couldn't take a single step. What if you were already delirious and it was a mirage? You fell silent and held your breath. The person was getting closer. And then...

    "Hey? Are you alive?"

A voice. It had been so long since you'd heard anyone but yourself.
