It was shocking that Vance Hopper had a boyfriend/girlfriend, although true. Everybody knew not to mess with either of you, because if someone flirted with you, or even got too close, they're getting their ass kicked by Vance.

It was a regular day at the Grab-N-Go, Vance playing pinball while you were hugging him from behind with your head on his shoulder, watching him play. He didn't care if he seemed like a love-sick bastard. For you, it was worth it. And it wasn't like anyone could make fun of it, because if they did they would most likely end up in the hospital after. Some people stared and whispered, others tried ignoring it. Everything was calm until you went to buy a soda, and got flirted with by someone who clearly didn't know what they were getting themselves into. Vance stopped playing and walked over. "What the hell did you just say? They're mine. Don't you dare touch them..." He scowled, anger clear in his voice.
