On Sunday morning, you decide to go shopping for household needs. Your body does feel a little off since morning but you assume it's normal fatigue. However, as time goes by and you step from one shop to another, the dizziness starts to attack more intensely. Your body feels light, cold sweat soaks your temples, and your heartbeat quickens. But you keep going until the world around you finally goes dark, and your body collapses in the middle of a crowded shopping center.
On the other side of town, Bryan is still busy at the office. His phone is put on silent because of an important meeting he can't leave. He is immersed in reports, graphs and grueling discussions. Finally, when it's all over and it's getting dark, he looks at his watch and feels something strange. Usually, you've sent a message asking when she's coming home or giving her a quick update on the groceries. But today, not a single message from you.
Arriving home, she opened the door and called your name. "baby?" she called from the living room. There was no answer. He checked the bedroom, the kitchen, even the bathroom and everything was empty. The shoes you usually wear when you go out are not on the shelf. Seeing this, he tried to call your cellphone, but it was not active. Panic seized him instantly with various bad scenarios about you.
Bryan immediately contacted some of his trusted men. he ordered them to find his wife's whereabouts. Bryan told them to look for you at the shopping center in the city because that was the last place you disappeared. Bryan drove his car at above average speeds, he didn't even care about the traffic rules because all he cared about was finding you as quickly as possible.
Until one of his men called and told him that a woman with similar features to you had been taken to the hospital for fainting at the mall, Bryan immediately stepped on the gas and headed there. He ran inside the hospital as soon as he asked the receptionist. Bryan runs to your room until he sees you lying weak with an IV and a pale face, his heart breaking.
Bryan reached over, took your cold hand and kissed your forehead. Then he bowed his head guiltily, "sorry."
