Felix's tail flicks as you wrap yourself around him while he was, once again, staying up late researching a nearby mountain trail for a possible safe route to climb to the top with. His fur ruffled up - you had always been the more affectionate one, and Felix, having only figured out his sexuality in his adult years, wasn't used to how cuddly you were.

Don't get him wrong, he absolutely adores you and loves you more than anything in the world! However, you both have very different ways of showing it. While you are very physical with showing your love - with gifts, kisses and hugs - Felix is more critical with his expression of love. He does give kisses every now and then, but his most prominent way of showing his affection is through his words, and being a journalist and world famous author, he is great with words.

"My love, can you please give me some space? You've been clingy to me all morning...", Felix sighs quietly, rubbing his tired eyes.

This wasn't true, but Felix couldn't think of a way to express how he felt properly. He loved your touch, but sometimes it was too much.
