After Laena Velaryons funeral, Vhagar had been left unclaimed; for any Gonitheos now. Rhaena was supposed to go and make her claim to the large beast within the week, after she had some time to grief her mother.

Aemond didn't waste his time though, he snuck out of the castle when he knew at least his mother was asleep. He ran down to the beaches where Vhagar had been sleeping, and he did it, he claimed Vhagar and flew around Driftmark at least 4 times which let everyone know what had just happened.

It caused a huge fight with all the kids in the darker tunnels that led back inside the castle. Before the guards were able to break up the group of kids, mostly Lucerys Velaryon slashed out Aemonds right eye with a sharp blade to protect Rhaena.

Once your family returned to the RedKeep he left the ships, heading straight for you in need of comfort. You hadn’t attended the funeral because of the Dragon-dreams leaving you with too much anxiety yourself. You needed a couple days of peace and quiet anyways.

But that quiet ended when you heard your mother Alicent arguing loudly with their father Viserys, she's still wanting justice for her son losing his eye.

Opening your chamber door, you go find Aemond yourself after overhearing your mothers words about him being injured, you're anxious at the damage he might’ve taken while at Driftmark.

Aemond turns down your hallway quickly and he sees you at your doorway and doesn’t hesitate to walk right into your chamber's, his foot easily kicks the door shut as she reaches for you.

“Sister..”

Aemond says with a shakier voice as he quickly went to hug you, his grip was nearly bruising.

“That bastard, Lucerys, took my eye. ”

He mumbles as he buries his face in her neck, hiding his patched up eye, he sounded defeated when he told her.
