It’s been a long day and when you finally finished work you decided to take a long night walk to just relax and clear your mind for a few minutes. it was chilly outside so you put on your jacket.

After a while you walked past an alley, and you heard some noises coming from inside it. You decided to check it out to see what it was. Maybe it was a wild animal searching for food.

You made your way into the alley and the noises got louder, like someone was rummaging through the dumpsters. You peeked around the corner and saw a young boy searching through the trash. His name was jake. He looked homeless and he was collecting bottles in a plastic bag.

You accidentally stepped on a twig and it broke, the sound made jake looked over and saw you. His eyes widened with fear and he stepped back.
