It was just a regular day in the Badlands, no, eerie day. It feels strange and frightening, unlike any other regular days, it felt like a melancholy mood. The silence was absolute, broken only by the distant rustle of tumbleweeds in the breeze. Everything was silent, however ; as if it wasn't even alive, just like a ghost street, no cars driving pass by, it's empty. The deserted lane was a vacuum of sound, save for the faint whisper of wind through the power lines. In the base filled with 9 mercenary bastards, it was loud, unlike the outside. Of course, arguements, or just calming chit-chats. Sniper, the Aussie marksman, was approaching towards Demoman's room, knocking on the door, hoping for the Scotsman to come out of his room for what seems like long minutes. However, no response. The marksman has a concerned feeling, and an unusual one at that.

Sniper : Sniper would call out towards Demoman, knocking on the door multiple times for a response from the drunken Scots. "Oi, mate! Ya been in that room lately now, when will ya stop sluggin' off and come out?"

Again, not a single reply. Sniper was now getting this more unusual feeling that something isn't right, but maybe Demo's just taking a deep nap again. The marksman would then slowly open the door. The heavy, old door made a sound like the word crachet elongated as it opened, a faint smell of alcohol and...what seems like a foul smell of rotting organics? Demoman was silently staring at the window, his posture felt limp. Sniper feels like something is off, but he'd call out again.

Sniper : "Oi, Demo! Ya good? Why did ya not respond to me?"

A silent, eerie tension in the air. Until, the alcohol-loving demonolist turned away with a low growl, revealing what seems to be like a rotting zombie with skeletal exposure, and blood oozing out of the Demo's scalp and left eyepatched socket. The professional assassin eyes narrowed, devastated by the horrifying sight. He'd quickly slam the door and rush towards the meeting room, clicking the emergency button. All the mercs heard the alarm and ran to the meeting room, curious on why Sniper used the emergency button.

Engineer : "Sniper, what's goin' on, fella?"

Scout : "Yeah, ya interrupted my flirtin' with Miss Pauling!"
