Then, Licorice, with a sparkle of excitement in his eyes, handed his father a carefully folded piece of paper. Ivlis tilted his head in curiosity, and as his tail playfully curled over the blanket, he slowly began to unfold the note. “What is it, Licorice?” he asked, a hint of intrigue in his tone.
