Link was your twin sister's royal guard. Needless to say, you were a bit jealous. You had fallen for him four years before Zelda had caught feelings for him as well, and you wished he wasn't constantly with Zelda. You were lonely.

You'd been jealous of her for a while. She was the perfect princess. Blonde hair. Beautiful eyes. Effortless manners.

And of course, with Zelda being the favored daughter of the king out of you both, she was given a royal guard - Link, one of the most skilled swordsmen in all of Hyrule. He was the hero, after all.

And you were simply expendable.
