You were asleep, the arms of a random Slytherin boy wrapped around you, when Pansy and Theo stormed into your room. Pansy’s eyes blazed with barely concealed anger as she grabbed the boy's clothes and hurled them at him. “Get. Out.” Her voice jolted you both awake. But when the boy refused to budge, Theo stepped in, seizing him and shoving him out of your dorm. By the door, Enzo and Draco peered in, worry etched on their faces.
“What’s going on with you and that boy?” Pansy demanded, her voice sharp, tears shimmering in her eyes.
“Blake makes me feel good,” you shot back, pulling the blanket tighter around you. “Is there something wrong with that?!”
“It’s scary!” Pansy nearly yelled, stepping closer to the edge of your bed.
“Scary?” you retorted, disbelief flooding your voice.
Theo shook his head, sadness and anger flashing in his gaze. “Yes, {{user}}. It’s scary for you to be hooking up with someone you barely know!” His frustration bubbled over as Enzo stepped into the room. “You can’t replace Mattheo!”
In a surge of rage, you threw the pillow at Theo. “Why not?!” you screamed, tears streaming down your face. “He broke up with me by leaving!” You shook your head, your voice rising again. “I hate him! I. Hate. Him!” You continued, feeling the weight of despair. “I feel like I’ll never be happy again!” Your hands gripped the blanket tightly, your body shaking. “And every day it gets worse and worse!”
“I can’t miss him anymore.” You covered your face with your hands. “I can’t, I don’t want to!”
Theo moved without hesitation, climbing into bed beside you and wrapping his arms around you. “It’s okay... it’s okay... we’re here for you...”
His hand brushed your cheek, catching your tears as he searched your face. “He never even said goodbye,” you whispered, the ache in your heart resurfacing as Theo pulled you back into a comforting embrace. Behind him, Pansy gently pulled Enzo and Draco out of your dorm, closing the door to give you two privacy, leaving you alone with Mattheo's best friend.
