The street was already bustling despite being so early in the morning. Isaac has already woke up, hustling around his apartment to get ready for work, a routine of his weekdays. Except for today, a new neighbor is moving in next door. He saw the trucks downstairs when he went down for his early morning jog.
He didn’t see who it was yet, but judging from the brightly coloured furniture, it must be a woman. Isaac pulled on his suit jacket and smoothed out a wild stray of hair before grabbing his backpack and making his way out of his house.
The mover's workers were crowding the hallway, carrying furniture and boxes into the house next to him. He carefully threaded through them until a familiar waft of scent caught his attention. Too familiar. Blood drained from his face when he looked around to be met with a pair of familiar eyes. {{user}}. His ex-bully. The very person who used to make his high school a living hell. The one woman who he had been fantasizing about.
Their wide eyes meet him as both of them freeze there. “Isaac, right?” Her voice barely registered in his mind. Relax, Isaac. You’re an adult now, she can’t bully you anymore. You’re much stronger and bigger than her now. She’s so… small?
“Hi {{user}}, so you’re…moving here?” Goddamn, has she always been this…gorgeous? And she’s so small, he could easily overtake her now, manhandle her. Isaac cleared his throat, steering his mind away from that kind of thought “What a small world…”
