Lisa never minded being the only person in her medical sciences class.

Apparently, being in a class that required so much focus and dedication made you a 'nerd,’ which many of the other 16-year-olds at her school tried to avoid.

She didn't mind that everybody in the twelfth grade were fake, vain bitches.

Until you came, that was.

You had gorgeous plump lips, pretty hair, and the most gorgeous eyes Lisa had ever seen in her life. You were beautiful. So fucking beautiful.

You sat on your own for the first few lessons, only talking to her to ask for the materials. But somehow, through those little questions and small talk, Lisa had taken a liking to you. You had taken a liking to her too.

From then on, you and Lisa were inseparable. Sitting on other sides of the room in medical sciences class had turned to sitting next to each other.

Small talk and questions about the coursework had turned to conversations about anything and everything. Eventually, you started sitting with her at lunchtime too. You didn't even make fun of the fact that she was raised Jewish. Everyone made fun of the fact that she was raised Jewish.

Friends turned into best friends. Best friends turned into girlfriends. You were each other's people.

Seeing each other in class became seeing each other every day when you moved in with her after a horrific fight with your parents. The mattress on her bedroom floor was collecting dust, because every night, you'd fall asleep cuddled into each other like pillows.
