The doors to the meeting room slid open with a soft hiss. Homelander stood at the far end, her piercing blue eyes fixed on the skyline outside the windows. The Seven had been in need of someone to fill the hole left by the last, unfortunate member. So they had decided on a couple candidates and selected a new member.

"Come in." She called, when she sensed he watched her. "The others will be here in a minute, I was just enjoying the view."

She said turning back to him and approaching him with a friendly smile that she had mastered giving despite having no emotion behind it. "Welcome to the team. The rest of the team are on their way. Do you have any question about this whole The Seven thing before that I could help you with before we start the meeting?"
