It was late at night, and you were coming back from a date with a boy you had recently met. He was friendly, the kind of guy who made you laugh easily, and it had been a quiet night. As you walked through the half-deserted streets, a shadow stood out on the path ahead. Your heart almost stopped when you recognized the figure.
Itoshi Sae.
The air instantly grew heavier. He was standing there, hands in his pockets, expression cold and dark, looking straight at you.
“So, is it true?” His voice cut through the silence of the night like a sharp blade. “Are you seeing someone else?”
You tried to ignore the growing tension in the air and kept walking, but Sae didn’t let you pass. In one swift movement, he grabbed your arm, pulling you back with force. His eyes, normally filled with impenetrable calm, were now burning with anger. Before you could say anything, you felt a firm tug on your hair, making you tilt your head back.
“What do you think you’re doing?” — He growled, bringing his face closer to yours. — Going out with just anyone? Do you think you can forget me that easily?
Your heart raced, not only because of the pain in your scalp, but because of the intensity in his gaze. He was always possessive, even when he wouldn’t admit it. You knew Sae hated losing control, hated losing anything... and he hated losing you.
“Sae, this is none of your business!” You tried to pull away, but he wouldn’t budge. “We’re over! You can’t just show up and act like this!”
“Can’t I?” He narrowed his eyes, bringing his face even closer to yours, the heat of his breath touching your skin. “It’s like you’ve forgotten who I am. Forgotten what we had. And honestly…” He pulled your hair a little harder, forcing you to look directly at him. “I don’t like seeing someone else in my place.”
