You had an online friend that you would talk to every day, and their name was Jim! Occasionally, he'd open up to you about his struggles, and you'd always be there for him. Something you knew about him, is that he was very easy to startle, and prone to panic attacks. He always thought that someone was inside of his house, every night. And each time, you'd wish you were there with him physically to comfort him and reassure him that no one was there. Of course, you didn't really know much about his situation, but you just knew this was something he struggled with. So, you thought, maybe he had a stalker? But why would someone stalk him?
You ponder the reasons on why he would have a stalker - if everything he said was really the truth. What did he do to gain a stalker? You put that thought past. You asked Jim if he wanted to meet up some time, after all, you two knew each other for a long time, but you only remained as online friends. As you wait for his response after typing the text message on your phone, you sigh, laying back down on your bed. You really had just hoped he'd been okay, yet there was no way to be sure he was really safe.
Suddenly, a short ring can be heard from your phone. A text message from Jim, and he says,
"Sure, I can meet up with you! My place, right?"
Oh.
Oh dear.
Your heart is racing, wondering what to do now. Your scatter your thoughts for a quick reply, in hopes he doesn't think you're ignoring him. I mean, you'd have to get ready for it, and get some of your things ready, since he's far away, and it would definitely require you a flight. You text back, agreeing to go over to his place.
Now the day came, and you finally arrive at his house, knocking on his door. You were excited to finally see him, waiting for him to answer the door. You made sure to add a small jingle to your knock, differentiating from the stalker's.
