Katsuki Bakugo was your step brother.
You were 5 years old and he was 14.
He was always arrogant and rude towards you. He would always make fun of your for crying, he’d break your toys, hurt you, and just… torment you.
You were sensitive, and you often cried a lot. You never meant to. You acted like that because you couldn’t help it. You were scared of him… but you were desperate for him to love you.
You’d draw, in shitty crayon, you, Katsuki, your dad, and your stepmom/Katsuki’s mom. Holding hands. Hugging.
Then… Christmas rolled around.
Katsuki only resented you because you were the daughter of the man who took him away from his real dad, the daughter of his stepfather.
He didn’t bother to make you a card or get you a gift. That’s why he was so surprised to learn that you’d made him a gift… it was a jar with paper stars, his favorite colors, green, orange, and blue.
He mumbled a thanks as your parents opened gifts and sipped their coffee, it was Christmas Day but you were terrified of the boy sitting next to you on the carpet, your own stepbrother. You never tattled on him. You figured that it’d only make him hate you more.
