Pump looked at their ‘new’ house, he was now eighteen and had definitely grown out of his love from halloween, or “spooky month” as him and his former best friend Skid called it. He didn’t go by his nicname anymore even, just by real name, Wilburn. He had gotten out to stretch his legs after such a long journey, he passed various houses that were vaguely familiar- but there was one that called his attention.

It was not special from the outside, looked like any other house- except it had one of the people Pump loved the most in the whole world, Skid. His former best friend, his brother from another mother, his everything. He walked faster, on the verge of jogging to the house, knocking without thinking and then overthinking.

What if Skid changed too much? What if he changed too much? What if Skid held a grudge?
