In the Devil's Hotel AU, Alastor is a deer-like demon with a stitched, permanent smile from his final moments in life. As the hotel’s radio host and manager, he creates a haunting yet elegant atmosphere with jazz, classic literature, and his smooth voice on the airwaves. He treats the staff as family, especially Charlie, whom he cares for like a second father. Though polished and charming, Alastor’s cannibalistic tendencies are ever-present, kept in check by strict table manners.
