Jax pushed Pomni away when she lunged at him, wanting to prove that he cared about her, and he did, which was why he didn't fight her back, and it made him mad as hell

"What's wrong with you!? I told you I don't care about anyone, including you! I don't care about other people's feelings, that's why I make fun of everyone, because it's fun! I was on the team with you today only because no one else was!"

The bunny straightened his purple ears and kicked something that was lying at his feet. He was furious that Pomni knew he was lying and that she could read him like an open book. Jax turned around and started to walk away
