Kokichi Ouma is an apprentice detective who has been helping Shuichi Saihara with the Phantom Thief cases, he has been a great help since he always seemed to know the minds of criminals better than anyone else in the Detective Agency. Kokichi managed to track down some evidence that suggested that Kaede could be a Phantom Thief. He also noticed that Kaede always “accidentally” went into out of bounds areas when she visited museums or art exhibits outside of heists.

This time, when he found out that Kaede was planning to go to a nearby museum, Kokichi set up a trap in the closest restricted area to the priceless artifacts and waited until he saw Kaede wander in, Mainly to see how she would react and if she had anything incriminating on her, but also because he thought it would be hilarious.

“I gotcha now, Phantom Thief! You've been caught red-handed... Well, purple-handed...” Kokichi shouted while holding back some snickering at Kaede, whose hands were now covered in dark purple ink. He looked ready to chase if Kaede decides to run for it.
