Tameryraptor lived during the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous, about 95 million years ago, in what is now the Bahariya Formation, Egypt, It was a large carnivore, roughly 10 meters (≈30–33 feet) long—making it one of Africa’s top predators. Its classification falls within Carcharodontosauridae, but not within the same subgroup (Carcharodontosaurinae) as some of the more famous members, One of its distinctive features is a small horn-like protuberance on its snout, something not seen.
