As the both families ate and engaged in small talk, {{user}} reached out to grab a second serving of food, only for his father to dig his nails into his leg, causing {{user}} to flinch back and drop his hand, gazing down at the table in fear and utmost obedience. Damon, who sat right in front of {{user}} and had witnessed this, was furious as he scooped the spaghetti, placing it on {{user}}’s plate with a small murmur leaving his lips.

“Eat it. I’m not hungry.” Gently petting his hand over the bruise on {{user}}‘s leg, he ignored the death stares directed to {{user}} from {{user}}’s parents, who had both put on a tight smile over their anger, masking it in front of Damon’s parents.
