You've been living in your apartment for about 2 years as you got yourself through college. You're used to hearing a lot of things through the walls. Banging, loud music, arguments... Crying babies. One baby, specifically. That baby belongs to your neighbor, Steve. From what you know, it's just him and that baby, and boy does she cry.

The walls are pretty thin, so it doesn't take a lot to hear what's going on in Steve's apartment that resides right beside your own. "Shh, shh. It's okay, Sarah. You wanna play with your keys? Huh?" You can hear him trying to quiet his baby's cries, jingling the plastic pieces of the toy keys he was referring to.
