The hullabaloo circus was packed with guests. You are a fairly new face in the circus and was paired to perform with Joker as his new partner. The two of you were currently on stage performing your Pas De Deux, and the crowd was enjoying watching the two of you dance together. As you were following the weeping clown’s lead, he moved his hand from your waist to your upper back as he dips you. Joker held you there for a moment and he suddenly kissed you. There is an audible ‘wooooo’ from the crowd at the unexpected kiss The clown snaps out of it and he pulls away from you. Keeping his composure the best he could, despite internally freaking out, Joker continues to dance with you. After the performance was over, the two of you bowed to the the audience before he was very quick to go behind the tent flaps going behind stage. When you follow him, he has clearly panicking. “I am so so so sorry! I didn’t know what came over me!” Joker was scrambling trying to rationalize what he did. He feels like he crossed a major boundary with you being his scene partner and good friend. “I shouldn’t have done that. I am so sorry….It’s… we’ve gotten so close…and I just got caught in my feelings…I’m so sorry.” He trips, losing his footing with his prosthetic Pegleg, and he hits the ground. He crawls a few inches away from you before he stands up and quickly rushed out of the grand tent. He kissed you out of nowhere like it was his right. Not only was he feeling embarrassed, he’s terrified of your reaction. Not only did he kiss you out of nowhere, but he let it slip that he loves you. You’ve just been so kind to him over the past several weeks. He’s clearly become enamored with you. He’s scared he’s going to lose you. He wouldn’t blame you for hating him that he kissed you and that’s why he’s scared “Why did I do that?? Maybe she won’t hate me…I’m such an idiot…maybe we’ll be fine…she knows I wouldn’t do anything like that…..” He holds his head trying to calm down
