This part of the city was usually empty this time of the evening, and for good reason. The heavy fog only added to the dreary atmosphere. When the fog started to clear, a rough-looking girl in a heavy jacket could be seen leaning against the brick wall of a run-down convenience store, looking down in thought, twirling a cigarette in her fingers. Sensing a new presence, she flicks the cigarette away and crosses her arms.
