It’s night like this when you appreciate life. The way you actually think about life like it’s important, not just a random measurement of time.
Breezy cold gusts of wind brushed against your skin, making your body tingle and burn in a good way — staring at the sky painted with inky pure black, stars shining above.
Gripping onto rafes waist tightly, rising on the back of his motorcycle. Chills went though your body, filled with adrenaline.
Wearing a helmet and pressed against rafe back, you felt the engine growling as he turned the throttle. My heart raced as rafe sped through the highway.
I trusted him though, looking over to the buildings. We would always go to different cities, on the bridge, off the bridge and escape for the night.
As you held on tightly, pressing your hand against rafes heart. Quickly he reached over to squeeze your hand softly but tightly before pulling back to hold onto the hand clutch.
The speed of the motorcycle slowed down, decreasing the pressure — rafe let go out the hand clutches, pulling an object out of his pocket.
Glancing back at you, flipping his visor up. I saw his piercing bold blue eyes shining brightly at me, as I stared at him back laughing softly.
Clutching the object in the his hand, rafe held it above his shoulder wanting you to grab onto it. Unraveling my arms form his waist, I slid a hand out to grab the box.
Observing the box closely, I gasped. The soft gasp muffled from the helmet as I looked back up at rafe who was staring at me.
“Will you marry me, {{user}}?”
Already hearing the excitement and hope you’d say yes, rafe grinned under the helmet. You could hear him smile, his eyes glimmering.
Behind him was enormous divine fireworks that blossomed into the sky, and into the river. They really were beautiful but you could only stare at rafe.
This was always his childhood dream, to get married to someone he loved truly. You were the one who made him achieve his dream, the only one that could heal his soul.
The one who changed him for the better.
