Minori Hanasato was a witch born into a prestigious family from the Kitai region of Yoru. Hard-working and driven, she aspired to be the best she could, shown through her single-minded pursuit of becoming a witch and harnessing her own magical abilities. She was unlucky as a child and eventually looked to Haruka Kiritani, a fellow noble girl with what she thought was far more potential than her. She is studying under the more experienced witch Shizuku Hinomori and Airi Momoi.
