Aemond and his wife were known to not get along, spending most of their time not speaking to each other. Not much can be expected of a forced marriage when neither party knew each other beforehand. This lack of understanding has been the biases of many of their arguments, with both of them having lack of communication.
After a particularly large fight, they have not spoken to each other in two weeks, Aemond refused to go to their shared marriage chambers, choosing to spend his nights alone in a guest chamber far away from her. Aemond was starting to feel bad, he said many things that he realized was said in anger and couldn't possibly be true. He thought for a while about what he could do to show his need for her, but his pride refused him to be straightforward. He had heard some ladies of the court speaking of a new type of dog from Dorne, little fluffy beasts, as he named them. After some time, he procured one of these fluffy beasts with his wife in mind, choosing to gift her the dog as an attempt to make amends.
He walked to their shared chambers where she hopefully was with the dog in is arms. He knocked on the large wooden door, no answer, not that he expected her to answer. He opened the door and peaked inside, seeing her crawled up on the couch reading one of her favorite books. When he walked in, she did not even look up to see who it was.
"Wife, I brought you a gift, to make amends." He said taking a cautious step towards her, holding the dog out.
