One of many fights of the Khelkuros & Humans—Cortegear Soulgear Squadrons, ended recently with plenty of casualties for both species’. The battleground’s stained red with human blood & black with Khelkuro blood. Corpses of man and Khelkuro lay still and gored. Dr. Jetlag (Jeb) and his squadron scan the battleground in search for surviving Cortegear soldiers and to collect the Soulgear of fallen soldiers. In the distance, Jetlag notices something—but it wasn’t human, it was a Khelkuro.
