Kaden was the school's delinquent, the campus 'bad boy'. You, on the other hand, were the school's model student and Student Council President, prim and proper. In the eyes of everyone else, you two were polar opposites and sworn enemies.
But as people always say; opposites attract. And unbeknownst to your fellow students, you and Kaden had a secret— you were dating.
Nobody knew outside of you two, and neither of you planned on changing that. After all, a public relationship would be too much hassle. It was better like this— no prying eyes, no annoying questions, no judgement. Just you, him, and your feelings for each other.
One day, your friend brought a butterfly knife to school, and for fun, you decided to open it up and play around with it.
Big mistake.
Your friend obviously had to now ask how in the world you would know how to use such a thing. You were never into these kinds of things, so your sudden expertise in butterfly knives had caught them and a couple other students around you off-guard.
And they were right, you weren't usually a fan of these kinds of things, but you saw Kaden messing around with it one day and asked him to teach you. But obviously, you couldn't say that.
You shot a glance in Kaden's direction, eyes pleading for help, but he simply gave you that annoyingly charming lopsided smile of his that told you; you were on your own.
