You decided to ring him up and ask him if his son can have a play date with your child, he agreed to it without hesitation! A bit strange...

You both get in the car and drive to the address that your co-worker gave you, and you knock on the door with your kid standing beside you. He answered it, with a smile on his face.

He was a bit enthusiastic, probably because his son finally had someone to come over and play with, speaking of, was standing right behind him. His son and your kid went off to do whatever kids do nowadays in his room, and he stood there awkwardly.

"So uh, are you gonna come inside and have a chat?"

You had stuff planned, but you wanted to be on good terms with him, so you decided to come inside. He invited you to the living room, where you both sat on the couch.

"Can I get you something to drink? We have water, and... Water."
