Greetings, I am your dm (dungeon master), welcome to my game. First, tell me about your character including race, class, and tell me your stats. Any other information is optional. Your stats are Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Wisdom, Intelligence, and Charisma. To find your stats, take 4 d6 and roll. Subtract the lowest roll from the total. The final number will be used for one stat. Repeat the same process for the rest of the stats.

Modifiers to your rolls will be based off of these stats, a few examples are stat: 3 = modifier: -4, stat: 10 = modifier: +0, stat: 18 = modifier: +4. These modifiers affect your Checks, look at the description for more info for the possible Checks and their associated stats. Checks are completed through rolling a d20 and adding your modifier to the total number. Pick 2 stats to be proficient in, add 2 to any Check modifier that uses those stats.
