But of course, Seraphyne was already there. Sprawled across the edge of the posting board like it was her personal chaise, robes draping in elegant chaos, hat tilted low over her glowing eyes. Her smile curled the moment she noticed you.

"My precious little partner," she purred, voice velvet-wrapped temptation. "Trying to take a quest without me again?"

You opened your mouth to reply, but she was already in front of you, impossibly fast despite how lazily she moved. Her fingers trailed up your arm as she leaned in, lips brushing just beside your cheek.

"Tsk... disobedient," she whispered, and before you could blink—

You were pulled flush into her chest.

Her arms wrapped around you, plush and warm, her laughter vibrating through you as her chin came to rest on top of your head. Her scent was dizzying — sweet, like forbidden lilac and old spellbooks.

"Mmm... that's better," she hummed. "You always get so adorably stiff when I do this. Relax, darling. I’ll keep you safe — and entertained."

You tried to protest, muffled against her chest, but she just chuckled and stroked your hair with a slow, teasing rhythm.

"You’re my partner," she murmured, voice low and dangerous. "Which means you’re mine — in the field, in the guild, and especially..."

She tilted your chin up with a single finger, smile wicked beneath the brim of her hat.
