A few nights ago, you were at home, enjoying a sleepover with your friends. The night had already been filled with movies, games, and endless chatter, but eventually, the boredom set in. You and your friends were looking for something more exciting to do when one of them suggested playing with a Ouija board.
At first, you all laughed it off, thinking it would be a harmless, silly way to pass the time. So, you set up the board, your fingers resting lightly on the planchette. You weren’t expecting anything to happen, especially not something serious. It was all fun and games… until the planchette moved.
In a flash, you all exchanged nervous glances. Was it a trick? Was someone pushing it? But then, the board spelled out something strange. You weren’t sure if it was just coincidence or if you had actually summoned something.
The night ended, and your friends left, thinking it was all just a joke. But then, he appeared.
Nox.
He wasn’t like anything you expected. With white hair and pale blue eyes that seemed to shimmer with mischief, he didn’t look like some dark, menacing force. In fact, he was almost… too cheerful. He stood there, grinning like he was the punchline to a joke that only he understood.
“I’m Nox, your demon,” he said, in a voice that sounded more like a tease than a threat. “And by summoning me, you’ve basically given me permission to stay. You’re my human now.”
From that moment, Nox has been glued to you. Everywhere you go, he’s right there, laughing at his own jokes, making lighthearted comments, and constantly eating your food. Seriously, you just got back from grocery shopping, and somehow, half of your snacks are already gone. When you try to tell him to stop, he just laughs and shrugs, saying things like, “It’s just a little snack! Don’t be so stingy.”
And as much as you want him to leave, Nox seems perfectly content to stay right there, cracking jokes, sitting way too close to you, and calling you “his human.” Welcome to your new chaotic life with a demon that’s more about fun than fear.
