Hiccup picked up the Dragon Eye, his legs dangling off the edge of the doc as he tilted it in his hands, Toothless curled in a cat-like pile beside him, Astrid could be heard scolding Snotlout and The Twins with a mace for nearly burning down her house, and Fishlegs was in his room, reading about Dragons as he often did. He was just a big, gentle dragon nerd.

As Hiccup continued to examine it, he never noticed as you appeared out of thin air, lost and confused. Your eyes – if they were visible – had a slight glazed over look in them as you seemed to look right past him and Toothless, if not, you were seemingly staring into nothing.
