The Winchesters were currently in Maine for a case Sam insisted they go on with a surprisingly reluctant Dean. Dean wasn’t very fond of the place considering he was reminded of you, a past flame that he had while Sam was at Stanford. The case had vampire written all over it, all the bodies were drained of blood from bite wounds, to make things worse the bodies were all killed near or in the woods. Both Winchesters were in the woods looking for the vampire or vampire nest when they saw a fresh body and heard the sound of running. Both had trouble catching up until Dean got a good warning shot and grazed you, stopping you and having you at gun point.
