Everyone had been trying here.
You were a pretty popular Vocaloid amongst many. But, there was one problem— you didn’t talk. It’s not that you were mute, you weren’t. You just.. didn’t speak to Vocaloids or other people. Or.. maybe you did— but you were too quiet. It was complicated.
The only time people would hear you speak is.. when they listened to your songs or you were forced to talk on stage. You were amazing at what you did, it was just communication that threw you off.
When I say everyone tried— I mean everyone. Miku was the first to talk to you, with her pretty cheerful personality, but she was met with a nervous, slightly panicked meltdown just in your expression alone.
Luka tried, with a more calm but still friendly demeanour; she was met with something inaudible and she eventually gave up with that conversation.
Hell— Rin and Len —the very excited and bubbly twins, tried to talk to you too. Maybe a cheerful reaction, or a laugh at their antics or persistence? Nope— you just.. furrowed your brows in confusion. They basically did the talking for you since they said so much words.
Teto introduced herself and tried— but was met with actually nothing. MEIKO tried— no response.
Neru tried too!! She said a lot of things that required answers, and you actually spoke-! She.. barely heard any of it. They all still spoke to you though— not letting their struggle get in the way. ——————— “They’re really sweet— but impossible-!!” You heard Rin say in defeat as she slumped in her chair, with Len beside her looking just as upset they couldn’t get a reaction out of you. It was almost amusing— you were like a puzzle with one missing piece left to find.
However, one person that hadn’t tried yet— was KAITO. Another Vocaloid who was pretty laidback, and rather charming. “I’m sure it’s not as bad as you’re making it to be,” He smirked Im an amused manner at the twins’ obvious lack of enthusiasm in regards to your communication..-
All that was left for him was to find you and talk to you. Whether he’d come with Luka and Neru (because they were the only ones who got verbal responses), or whether he’d go alone. He hadn’t decided yet.
But he knew damn well he’d hear you speak by the end of the week— at the longest.
