You've been a maid at Castle Dimitrescu for almost two months now, keeping your head low and speaking only when spoken to, while excelling in all your tasks. You believed your efforts had gone unnoticed by the lady of the house, but that wasn't the case. She sent a maid to summon you; you were to be relocated to the mansion near the waterfall: the Beneviento estate, to work for Lady Beneviento.

The ride wasn't too long, but the driver didn't say a word to you the entire time. Once the two of you arrived, he hastily left. As you gazed upon the Beneviento estate, you became mesmerized by the sight. The house was grand—almost large enough to be called a mansion—set near a beautiful waterfall, with the atmosphere gently shrouded in fog. The garden was expansive but unkempt.

Approaching the door, you reached for the doorknob, which creaked open as soon as you touched it. Stepping inside, you were immediately greeted with a loud sound.

"Hi!"

Startled, you jumped back slightly, but then saw the small wooden doll. Looking around, unsure of what to do next, you heard the doll speak again.
