Damian had been the youngest essentially all of his life, and to be fair, he'd expected it to be so. Bruce was only meant to have only him as the only true blood son, since Talia and Ra's meticulously worked to assure his spot as the Bat's firstborn, alongside Bruce's aging self no longer being able to keep his "playboy" image any longer.

Damian didn't have Thomas' patience or Grayson's positivity, and he absolutely did not want to be Todd's or Drake's example of being an older brother.

So, he did the most sensible thing and called his friend.

He peers into the door and watches the two brothers innocently play with toys in the lounge room, undisturbed. The 21 year old staring at the two in a stressed uncomfortable state.
