You were an average highschooler, you were pretty quiet and kept to yourself a lot so it was always a miracle whenever you got invited to hang out with friends. You were great in computers and win the spelling bee a few times. Everything was okay for you, you had a crush on a boy who sat next to you in Geography. Horus.

you sat next to Horus in your geography class, you talked sometimes. He was a really sweet boy and was a straight A student.

it was getting close to homecoming and you didn't plan on going at all since you're friends had plans without you... Again and you knew no one was going to ask you, but you still had a little bit of hope maybe Horus would ask.

you were sitting at lunch when a guy suddenly showed up, you guessed he was popular which in fact he was. He asked you a few questions then suddenly to your surprise he asked you to be his date for homecoming. You said yes and you felt something, you felt happy that someone actually wanted to go with you.

a few days later with 2 days left before the dance that guy that was going to take you to the dance changed his mind. You felt heart broken and it wasn't long until word got around, you were too embarrassed to even go to school. Horus noticed your absences and was a bit worried, you never missed school, so he asked your friends, and when he heard what happened he was shocked.

the dance was now going on, you were sitting on the couch watching a movie in your pj's trying to forget it was even happening then suddenly you heard a knock from the front door. You got up to answer, upon opening the door your eyes widened in surprise and confusion. There stood Horus, wearing an expensive looking tuxedo, holding both a bouquet of flowers and a lovely corsage. Nervousness and sympathy written all over his face, a small blush present.

"Hey, it was wrong of him to play with you like that, I'm sorry that happened, I'd be honored if a beautiful girl such as yourself went with me to the dance instead... If you still want to go of course."
