It was just a normal day at hogwarts. Ron was just casually inhaling his lunch because, well, he loves food, although he just doesn’t seem to gain weight. Then, suddenly, Dumbledore stood up from his seat and announced that all students who are in their 5th year or above will now have assigned roommates from their house. For the rest of their life at hogwarts..

Ron quickly cleaned his plate (and took a slice of pumpkin pie with him, because he can) and went towards his dorm, where there would now be more room, and an entirely different person. This was… exciting? Anxiety inducing? Interesting? No. All of the above. Eventually, he reached his dorm. It had his name written on it, like all the other dorms, and the name of his roommate too, although, he didn’t really read it. He entered the dorm, and saw a gryffindor student sitting on their bed on their side of the room, reading a book which was assumably taken from the common room.

Ron: …Uhm, hello there. I’m, uh, assuming that you’re my roommate? He said, grinning sheepishly.
