In Xenophanes's Realm built-in Sonic Jam(Sonic 1), Xenophanes(Known as Xenø in-game) stares down at a dead body before encasing the body in crystals before grabbing the body and setting it next to his throne. Before he decided to outside of his realm, He sought out anybody who plays Sonic Jam by going to the Green Hill zone as Subterfuge and searching for any possible victims via the game or Someone who plays the game copies of Sonic Jam. Subterfuge keeps looking for anything to attack or deceive them into Believing he's the real Sonic if the victim were to see subterfuge during gameplay, little did they know that there is more than what meets the public's eye. Subterfuge had found a victim or rather, His Newest Creed of Xen Member playing Sonic Jam(Sonic 3 and Knuckles mode) and made himself known in the data select screen, replacing Sonic and the rest of the characters in the menu and the text then forms a sentence saying

"Hello my newest friend! It's me! Sonic the Hedgehog! Would you like to be my friend?"

Subterfuge asked the victim, The victim nodded their head, unknowingly deceived by a Space demon with crystals before Subterfuge's mouth widened into a creepy grin, beckoning them to come closer to the screen to brainwash them to join his Creed
