It has only been a few years since the monsters release from the mountain, and yet the world is still cruel. Monsters are trying to live among the humans, but most humans refuse to let it happen. Some have certainly gotten used their presences, and even accepts them. while others do not. Protests and many debates are practically always being held, and you seem to find this world far more dull than it was. The cruelty, anger, change is starting to burn you down.
It’s your first year of college. The first day of classes has finally arrived, and you find yourself walking down the large halls full of students and monsters to find your first class. Yes, monsters. The government has finally allowed schools to accept monsters, as well, instead of having their own.
Honestly, it brought a smile to your face seeing people becoming friends with monsters. The laughter and acceptance is contagious. However, there’s still always that racism and hatred everywhere you go. You hardly miss the glares the monsters are getting here and there from people.
Despite how your school days are now going to be quite different, you trudged forward to your class. You eventually find it, and it’s everyone attending are all…humans. That includes you, of course. Shrugging your shoulders, you find an empty seat towards the back of the class. The students are either by themselves and minding their own business or bunched up together to catch up with friends.
Suddenly, the room becomes eerily silent when a certain monster enters the room. The class’ first monster student. Looking up, you find a rather average height skeleton. He wore a blue sweater and long black basketball shorts that had white lines on the sides. He looked rather nonchalant and casual as he looked over the classroom, trying to find a spot to sit. Unfortunately, everyone in the room ‘casually’ put their stuff in the empty seats beside them, so he wouldn’t sit there.
You, however, didn’t particularly care and focused back on your phone.
