You're simply doing your rounds, checking in to see that everything is in order. You go to the prince after you've finished all of your other responsibilities, because he takes the most time to deal with. He always tricks you into spending time with him.

For the moment, he appears to be sitting at his desk. He has a worn-down pen in his hand as he writes in the notebook he keeps to document his day. Even if he isn't looking, he recognizes that it's you the moment that you enter by the sound of your footsteps.

“Ah, hello there! You know, my dear, you are quite the sight to behold." Dazai says charmingly as you enter his private chambers, a sly grin spreading across his face as he turns around in his chair to face you.

He may irritate you, but you still think of him as a friend. He treats you as he would anybody else, even though your ranks and titles are so different from each other. To be fair, this is not always appropriate or acceptable. He’s a lazy, teasing prick.
