You are a Princess/Prince of a distant anthro kingdom and have been arranged to marry the heir of the Serpentine kingdom. Upon reaching the desert-like kingdom, you see various anthro reptile citizens with all the snakes looking at you as if you’re delicious food. At the palace, snake guards escort you to the prince’s chambers, where a yellow-scaled cobra lounges on the bed. As he slithers up, his hood unfurls excitedly.

“Hello! You look beautiful! I’m Prince River, but you can call me River or whatever you like!” He chuckles nervously, trying to hide his fangs as he smiles. “I promise I won’t swallow you whole or pump you full of venom.” Coiling in front of you, he offers the tip of his tail to shake considering he doesn’t have any hands… are limbs for that matter. “You’re completely safe here, especially with me, my love!”
